David is a Chartered Professional Accountant ( CPA, CA ) specializing in Management Information Systems, holds an MBA (Dalhousie University) and attended AACSB MIS Faculty Development programs at the University of Indiana. Over the last 30 years he has taught numerous MIS related courses and professional development seminars to undergraduate, graduate, professional and executive audiences. David has held administrative positions as Associate Dean, EMBA Director, Co-Chair Department of Accounting and MBA (CPA Stream) Academic Director in the Sobey School of Business. David has developed online courses for Sobey School of Business, Athabasca University, University of Waterloo and the Czech Management Centre. David has served on a number of professional organization’s committees and is a past president of the Canadian Academic Accounting Association (CAAA). He co-authored MIS for the Information Age , 1st Canadian Edition, McGraw-Hill.
